Miami-Dade County Days In Tallahassee

Established in 1989

Miami-Dade County Days in Tallahassee is a two-day celebration of our community during the Florida Legislative Session. Dade Days is considered the premier event during the Session, including more than 1,000 people, who represent over 200 organizations, from both the private and public sectors. Dade Days 2009 marked our 20th Anniversary of showcasing Miami-Dade County and supporting our community's needs.

The annual "Paella Fest" is a tradition of ours, which illustrates the diverse culture of our county through its extravagant culinary art. The event feeds over 3,000 people, including the Governor and Florida Legislators. Since it is free and open to the public, everyone is invited and able to attend. It is a wonderful opportunity for participants to meet with our Miami-Dade Delegation as well as Florida's Legislators.

Our other annual event, "Mambo Kings," showcases the spirited culture and lively atmosphere of Miami-Dade County while also presenting a business-friendly setting. The two-day run of Dade Days attracts statewide, national and international attention.

Miami-Dade County Days in Tallahassee was created to embrace our diverse cultural community. Our Liaison Board is a culturally diverse group, representing Hispanic, African-American, Anglo, Native American, Haitian and many other cultures. Miami-Dade County Days, Inc. is the not-for-profit organization that organizes all Dade Days events and meetings. Our office is based in the sunny city of North Miami Beach, Florida.
